Waiting for Caroline

This is a little "catch up" posting. As most of you know, the 2 weeks before I had Caroline, I was placed on strict bedrest. So, we had lots of family and friends come to help take care of Will. We have really been blessed by those who were able to come and lend a hand.

Michelle, an incredible friend, came for several days at first. She finished little projects that I had not yet done, cleaned house, cooked, and loved on Will. Michelle was releaved by my cousing Genny.

Genny, a graduate student at UGA, did a great job of cooking. I think she surprised herself.

Will was becoming a pro at sitting up on his own!

Mike's parents came up next. They took Will to the park where he had a great time!

Sliding with Grandpa

Riding the frog with Grammy.

Oh, they found a beachball.

My first Mother's Day. I sneaked out of bed to spend some time with my little man. Caroline was just kicking, waiting to come out into the world. Just 2 days to go!

The night before I left for the hospital, Will pulled up for the 1st time in his crib. I was so glad that I got to see it happen. Of course, Mike had to lower the mattress immediately. These babies are definitely going to keep up on our toes!

He is so proud of himself! Thank goodness the camera was in his room so that I could be there to keep him from diving over head first!

Wow look at Will standing up in his crib...does he look proud or what??? Kinda looks like he knows he's up to something huh??? I'm so glad you had family and friends come in when you were on bedrest to help you with Will and fix dinner too. I could get used to somebody fixing dinner for me couldn't you?
