SOLD

With great relief, but sadness, our home in Mt. Airy has finally sold. It had been on the market for almost a year. It was difficult for Mike to weekly maintain the house and the yard while it was being shown. So, we are glad to have the burden removed, especially in this challenging market. Mike and I did a final walk through and of course, I cried. After all, this was our first house where we brought our first baby home, where we had wonderful dinners with family and friends, and where precious memories were made. Not to mention, our sweet and unforgettable neighbors, the Flemmings.

So, we close this brief chapter in our lives and move forward. It was hard to attend the closing and not be a little sad, but we know the home is going to a nice couple. We only hope they love it as much as we did.
Waiting for a new family to love.

When we arrived home that evening, Mike and I saw the most beautiful sunset over the lake. It was a lovely symbol of our bright and promising future ahead. As Scarlett O'Hara would say, "tomorrow is another day!"

I know you will miss your home and what a cool address you had too. I so understand...we miss our place in Warner Robins too...our first home together as a married couple. But so glad you have sold it! Yeah!
