Dinner with Michelle and Chris
Michelle and her husband, Chris, came up for a visit and to take care of Will while Mike and I headed to a Dr. appt. I met Michelle in college. She has been a precious and life long friend ever since. We are so proud of Chris. He just completed a nursing program and will begin working at a large Atlanta hospital this week. I know my mother is secretly smiling from above.
Packing and visits from family
Our move to NC is getting closer by the minute. Our daily activities revolve around Will and packing. It's a little nuts.
I couldn't resist putting Will in a box. He seemed to enjoy it. Genny packed like a champ. She deserves a moment to catch her breath.
Dinner time for Will. Grandma's 1st time feeding him.
We were so lucky to have a visit from Aunt Debbie. This is my sweet brother's wife who was in Atlanta for a conference.

Shopping for the new baby
Now that we know our new baby is a girl, it was time to pick out a crib and few other things. Since we were at a store in Athens, home of the GA Bulldogs, my cousin Genny joined us for the day. Will found a bulldog to beat up. Tee hee.
A visit to Level Grove Elementary
As often is the lot in life of teachers, they had to return to work while their students enjoyed one more day off. So, with the school relatively germ free, we went for a visit to see some old friends. These are some of the sweet ladies that I worked last year when I was still teaching.
This is Lynn, she teaches 1st grade and has 2 wonderful little boys.
This is sweet Cindy who teaches Reading Recovery students.
Lynn, Tonya (illustrious art teacher), Aimee (1st grade), and Cindy.

Will is quite content in Cindy's arms after his bottle.
Super mommy, Aimee has 3 beautiful girls and is expecting another precious baby in June!

Happy 2008
For the past 3 years, we have been blessed by having the privilege of spending New Year's Eve with a sweet couple, Michael and Vicki, who have been friends with Mike for several years. Michael was the best man in our wedding. Vicki always puts out a great spread and has many more of their friends over. It's always so much fun and this year was no exception. Thanks, guys, for such a great time.
This was so funny. I was trying to rock him to sleep when Vicki's dog barked. Instead of being scared, Will thought it was hilarious. He just cackled and laughed every time their dog barked.
Michael and Vicki's youngest son, Cooper, getting ready to light sparklers.
Handsome boys waiting for the chocolate fountain to get started. Cooper, Perry and their friend, Avery.
Tired, new parents. Ready for the long drive home. Notice the lovely drool stain on my sleeve. It's become my signature trademark.
A Fun Day with Daddy and friends
We started the day with some fun playtime in the bouncer. Will looks like a little tap dancer in this thing. It is really so funny. He just spins around studying the floor and chewing on his firefly while Mommy cooks.
Mike and I went to visit some friends, Jenny and Scott, who are also Mini-Cooper owner and enthusiasts. Scott was really helpful in putting in Mike's new Mini engine part thingy that Santa brought him. Will thought their garage was quite interesting. Scott has an incredible, professional set-up.
Awww, Will is such a daddy's boy! Tired after a long, fun day.
